Description

The Alpina Smart Zigbee door and window sensor uses a two-part magnetic contact to report whether an opening is closed or open. It is intended for indoor monitoring and can pass its state to the Alpina Smart system through a compatible Zigbee gateway.

The catalogue specifies a detection separation of up to 15 mm; align both parts carefully because frame shape and mounting position affect operation.
Power is supplied by one 3 V CR2 lithium battery. Battery life depends on activity, radio conditions and temperature.
The stated Zigbee range is up to 90 m without obstacles. A compatible Alpina Smart Zigbee gateway is required and is sold separately.
The two housing dimensions are 57 × 28 × 18 mm and 31 × 16 × 12 mm.
This sensor reports opening state but does not physically lock the door or window and cannot guarantee protection against intrusion.

The package contains the two-part Alpina Smart opening sensor. A gateway and phone are not included.
