Frequently asked questions

How do I know which part fits my phone?
You need the exact model number, for example Samsung Galaxy S21 SM-G991B. You will find it under Settings > About phone, or on the box. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the phone or the broken part and we will help identify it.
What is the difference between original and aftermarket parts?
Original (OEM) parts come from the phone manufacturer or its partners, so compatibility is certain. Aftermarket parts are made by third parties: they cost less, but quality varies between makers.
Can I replace the screen myself?
Technically yes, but you need the right tools and patience. Done wrong, it is easy to tear a ribbon cable or break Face ID and the fingerprint reader. If this is your first time, start with a simpler model.
How do I know the battery needs replacing?
The usual signs: the phone no longer lasts half a day, it shuts down unexpectedly at 20–30% charge, or the battery has swollen so that the screen or back cover is bulging. A battery lasts roughly 2–3 years or 500 charge cycles.

The charging port is a wear part: years of pushing a plug in and out loosen the contacts. Here you will find sockets to be soldered to the board, charging ports on the end of a flex cable, and motherboard BTB connections such as the 2x39pin 3710-004501 — mostly for Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Sony or Nokia. Compatibility is given as a long list of model codes, so it is worth searching by the device's exact designation rather than its market name.
