The heads — Sonoff TRVZB, the Avatto TRV series, Shelly BLU TRV — can be fitted in a flat without running a single wire. A wall thermostat such as the Avatto WT410 and WT200 or the Meross MTS200 controls underfloor heating or a gas boiler and assumes the wiring is already there. Check the connection too: Zigbee needs a gateway, Wi-Fi does not.
