For the same 15.6-inch panel you also have to match the resolution (HD 1366 x 768 or Full HD 1920 x 1080), the connector position on the left or the right, whether it takes 30 or 40 pins, and whether the old panel is the thin SLIM type. The surface is either matte or glossy: matte reflects less, glossy makes the colours look more contrasty. On an IPS panel the picture stays correct when viewed from an angle.
