Tempered glass or hydrogel film — what is the difference?

Tempered glass (9H hardness) protects against drops and scratches and feels like the real screen under your finger. Hydrogel film is thinner and flexible, sits properly on a curved screen and heals surface scratches by itself — but it does not absorb impact. For most phones we recommend tempered glass.

Does a screen protector make the display worse?

No. A good protector has over 99% light transmission and an oleophobic coating that repels fingerprints. Colours and brightness stay the same.

Will a protector interfere with the fingerprint reader?

Tempered glass can slow down an in-display reader slightly. Hydrogel film works better with that technology. Tip: re-register your fingerprints after fitting the protector.

How often should a screen protector be replaced?

Replace it as soon as you see cracks or deep scratches — a cracked protector no longer protects properly. A good one typically lasts 6–12 months.

Description

Tempered Glass OG Premium for Samsung Galaxy A13 4G / A13 5G black frame

OG Premium tempered glass is a screen protector for your phone against damage. It is coated with an electrostatic and oleophobic layer that helps prevent fingerprints from sticking. Additionally, it makes it easier to clean the glass from dirt. The glass has a thickness of 0.2 mm and features adhesive applied to the entire surface. This limits the formation of air bubbles during application. The product is made of three layers and has high transparency. Its fit to the selected phone model protects the entire surface, including the rounded edges of the display.
