What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

Smart Book is a wallet-style case with a strong magnetic closure running across its full width. The exterior is covered with eco-leather over the entire surface, and stitching helps reinforce the case while supporting its elegant appearance.

According to the supplier, the eco-leather is high quality, while the magnet is designed for convenient everyday use and a long service life.

Two internal pockets hold payment cards, money or other essential documents. The cover folds into a viewing stand for photos, videos and web browsing. A matching-color silicone insert holds the phone inside.

Precise openings provide access to all the phone's functional buttons, connectors, camera and speakers.
