Building a new computer comes down to two decisions: which socket the processor uses and how much power the whole machine needs – the motherboard, memory and cooling follow from there. Cases, motherboards, processors, graphics cards, power supplies, RAM, and M.2 and SATA drives all belong here. If you are upgrading, measure the inside of the case, because a liquid cooler with a 360 mm radiator does not fit every box.
