The Medisana IB 100 uses a rapidly heated ceramic plate for brief, local treatment of insect bites and stings without chemical active ingredients. The supplier states that heat can help relieve swelling, redness and itching; results vary.
Two treatment programmes
A 3-second programme is intended for sensitive skin, while a 6-second programme is intended for normal skin. Children aged 3 and over may use the device only with adult supervision or assistance.

The IB 100 is a certified MDR Class IIa medical device. Its compact body and carrying strap support travel use.
