Dahua NVR5816-EI 16-channel network video recorder, 8 HDD bays, up to 32 MP

The Dahua NVR5816-EI is a 16-channel WizSense network video recorder for IP surveillance systems. It supports IP-camera streams up to 32 MP and uses an embedded Linux operating system.

Video and intelligent functions

• Network bandwidth: With recorder AI disabled: 384 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing; with AI enabled: 200 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing.
• Decoding capability: With recorder AI disabled: up to 2 × 32 MP or 2 × 24 MP at 20 fps, and up to 4 × 16 MP, 5 × 12 MP, 8 × 8 MP or 16 × 4 MP at 30 fps; with AI enabled: up to 1 × 32 MP or 1 × 24 MP at 20 fps, and up to 2 × 16 MP, 4 × 12 MP, 4 × 8 MP, 8 × 5 MP or 12 × 4 MP at 30 fps.
• Intelligent functions: Recorder-side face detection and recognition on 2 channels, perimeter protection on 4 channels and SMD Plus on 8 channels; AcuPick is available on up to 16 channels and additional camera-side AI is supported.
• Video compression: Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264.
• Video outputs: 2 HDMI and 2 VGA outputs; HDMI supports up to 3840 × 2160.
• Third-party camera support includes ONVIF; mobile access supports iOS and Android.

• Storage: 8 SATA bays with RAID 0/1/5/6/10; up to 16 TB per disk. HDDs are not included.
• Network: 2 × RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
• USB: 2 front USB 2.0 ports and 2 rear USB 3.0 ports.
• Audio: 1 RCA input and at least 1 RCA output.
