Dahua NVR5816-16P-EI 16-channel network video recorder, 16 PoE ports, 8 HDD bays, up to 32 MP

The Dahua NVR5816-16P-EI is a 16-channel network video recorder for IP surveillance systems. It accepts camera streams up to 32 MP and uses an embedded Linux operating system.

Video and intelligent functions

• Network bandwidth: 384 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing with recorder AI disabled; 200 Mbps with recorder AI enabled.
• Decoding: up to 2 × 32 MP at 20 fps or 32 × 1080p at 30 fps with recorder AI disabled.
• Intelligent functions: recorder-side face detection and recognition on 2 channels, perimeter protection on 4 channels and SMD Plus on 8 channels; additional camera-side AI is supported.
• Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG compression.
• Video outputs: 2 HDMI and 2 VGA outputs.

Storage and connections

• Storage: 8 SATA bays, up to 16 TB per disk; RAID 0/1/5/6/10 and eSATA. HDDs are not included.
• Network: 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and 16 PoE ports (IEEE 802.3 af/at, 150 W total, up to 25.5 W per port).
• USB: 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports.
• Alarm connections: 16 alarm inputs and 8 alarm outputs.
