Description

Alpina 8711252018553 is a 1.4 L clear borosilicate-glass carafe with a glass handle, pouring lip and stainless-steel lid with an integrated straining section. Its stated dimensions are approximately 10.5 × 24 cm and its empty weight is 445 g.

The carafe can serve water, juice, chilled infusions or tea that is within the vessel's safe temperature range. No maximum liquid temperature or thermal-shock limit is supplied, so do not assume that the glass accepts boiling water; avoid rapid changes between very hot and cold conditions.
The perforated lid can retain larger fruit, herb or ice pieces while pouring, but it is not a fine filter and cannot remove pulp, tea dust or small particles. Hold the lid in place if needed and pour slowly over a stable surface.
Fill below the rim, keep the outside of the handle dry and support the carafe when carrying it. The lid is not described as leakproof or pressure-safe; keep the vessel upright and never shake carbonated, fermenting or hot liquid in a closed carafe.
Inspect the glass before every use and stop using it after a chip, crack or hard impact. Let the carafe cool before washing, avoid abrasive tools and protect it from knocks; follow the packaging for dishwasher suitability because the glass and metal lid may have different care needs.

The package contains one Alpina carafe and one straining lid. Glasses, drinks and other accessories are not included.
