Ajax CombiProtect Motion and Glass-Break Detector, Black

Ajax CombiProtect is a wireless indoor detector that combines PIR motion detection with glass-break detection. It detects motion at up to 12 m, detects glass breaking at up to 9 m and helps reduce false alarms caused by pets, drafts or air conditioners.

Detection and protection

The SmartDetect algorithm helps ignore pets weighing up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall. FresnelTech optics, POLY IR4 material and an Excelitas PIR sensor support stable detection. Glass breaking is identified by analysing low- and high-frequency sounds. The detector uses authentication, encrypted communication, jamming detection and tamper protection.

Installation and compatibility

SmartBracket allows installation without dismantling the enclosure. Connection quality and the detection zone can be tested remotely. uartBridge and ocBridge Plus modules allow use with third-party security systems.
